Eonti and DigiCert Selected to deploy PKI for the Open Connectivity Foundation
Eonti Inc. (Eonti), a front runner in lifecycle operations management for trust infrastructure, together with DigiCert, Inc. (DigiCert), the world’s leading provider of scalable PKI solutions for identity and encryption, have been selected by the Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF) to provide registration authority and certification authority services for the OCF Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

Eonti becomes a gold level member of the Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF)
The OCF was founded to collaboratively define and promote a single connectivity framework to enable communications and interoperability in support of the “Internet of Things” across multiple vertical markets, operating systems, platforms, modes of communication, transports and use cases and to encourage the development and distribution of products implementing such connectivity frameworks.
“The addition of Eonti to our membership roster demonstrates the type of growth the Open Connectivity Foundation strives for,” said John Park, executive director, Open Connectivity Foundation. “Having active representation from all critical industry segments will help us ensure our resulting specifications truly meet the needs of the broader Internet of Things market.”

The President and CEO of Eonti Inc, Oscar Marcia, presented to the Smart Electrical Power Alliance (SEPA) on use cases for cross domain device and network security. Marcia also touched on Eonti’s utilization of the PKI security model that is being adopted and implemented in the IoT, most recently by the Open Connectivity Foundation.

Department of Transportation Development and Deployment Workshop

As a leader in the field of Cybersecurity and PKI, Eonti was invited to participate in a workshop held by the US Department of Transportation (USDOT) in regard to the development and deployment of their Security Credential Management System (SCMS). Eonti is working with the USDOT on Governance, Deployment, and awareness of the SCMS to ensure the security of Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communications.

Oscar Marcia, Eonti CEO and President, presented a case study on Cable Industry Trust Anchor highlighting the benefits of the utilization of PKI as best method for M2M authentication and the adoption of PKI in IoT ecosystems.
Eonti CEO, Oscar Marcia, has been invited to be a panelist at DigiCert’s NEXT conference in October. The conference is focused entirely on cybersecurity and will discuss the future of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Blockchain, as well as other emergent technologies. Oscar will share his expertise in the PKI panel discussion.
